lemon lime soda

Get your hands on some Lemon-Lime Soda Limited Release sock yarn. This is a celebration of the fact that yarn brings people together!

Check out the latest podcast interviews from TapGurl on the Go and The High Fiber Diet featuring Dye2Spin!!!  Both interviews were done on the same day but there were different perspectives and questions in each.

My first interview of the day was with KaRi from The High Fiber Diet.  She is the chairwoman of the fiber retreat, Knittin’ in the Mitten happening in Michigan, Nov. 7-10, 2013.  KaRi and I spoke about my environmentally friendly practices, where I get my inspiration, and how Dye2Spin is doing these days.  If you plan on attending Knittin’ in the Mitten, go home with some Dye2Spin goodies and be sure to make yourself some cute hexipuffs!

My second interview was with Carmen of TapGurl on the Go.  She is in my area so I got to do a face-to-face interview with her.  Carmen was one of my very first yarn customers at the Cowtown Indie Bazaar back in March ’11.  She bought some hand-dyed sock yarn that I was selling at the time called Lemon-Lime Soda.  Since it was one of my first sales as an indie dyer to someone in my area, I begged her to send me a picture of her work when she was finished.  Several months later, she sent me some amazing pictures of her socks she knit using my yarn.  I was such a proud yarn mama!

When Carmen welcomed me into her home to do the interview, I looked down to see the same socks on her feet.  The world stopped turning for a brief moment and it hit us both!  THAT’S where I know you from!!!  See how yarn brings folks together?

In honor of the sock yarn that serendipitously brought Carmen and I to where we are now, I am dying up a limited batch of Lemon-Lime Soda Sock yarn in a lovely SW Merino/Nylon blend with 463 yards of knitting bliss.  Order here.
